80-Year-Old Idyllwild Man With Alzheimer’s Missing for Nearly a Week

Sheriff’s deputies and worried family members are reaching out to the public for help in finding an 80-year-old Idyllwild man who suffers from Alzheimer’s and went missing nearly a week ago, authorities said.

David Elliot Bradish was last seen Nov. 26 in the 54500 block North Circle Drive in Idyllwild, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said in a written statement.

“Bradish does not drive and, according to family members, his disappearance is out of character,” according to the statement. “Bradish does not have a mobile phone.”

He may have his dark red cocker spaniel, Ginger, with him, authorities said.

He lived at a senior community in Huntington Beach until about a month ago, officials added.

Bradish is described as white, 6 feet tall, weighing 180 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a black jacket, black denim pants black shoes and sunglasses when he disappeared, officials said.

Anyone who spots Bradish is asked to call 911 immediately.
