Police are investigating after two people were shot in the Pico Union area of Los Angeles Sunday morning.

Shots reportedly rang out around 9 a.m. in an alley near the 1700 block of S. Bonnie Brae Street, according to LAPD.

Two Hispanic males were reportedly struck, but their conditions are unknown at this time.

Police said a Hispanic suspect who is a known gang member was taken into custody.
