State Lawmakers Delay Vote on Possible Pesticide Ban Drawing Attention After Mountain Lion’s Death

California lawmakers were expected to vote Thursday on a ban of certain pesticides days after authorities revealed the mountain lion P-47 consumed rat poison before being found dead in the Santa Monica Mountains.

The vote was delayed with the possibility of policymakers returning to the issue on May 6.
