Basking Sharks Pay Rare Visit to Southern California

For the first time in three decades, basking sharks have made an appearance off the coast of Southern California.

The gentle giants, which are the second-largest living species of shark and grow to be the size of a bus, have been delighting those lucky enough to catch a glimpse in recent weeks.
