Light Showers, Gray Skies Return to SoCal

Gray skies and light showers found their way to Southern California Monday morning.

The threat of rain and thunderstorms will hang around through Monday evening before drier conditions return on Tuesday and Wednesday, the National Weather Service stated.

Higher elevations – around 7,000 feet – could see a light dusting of snow from this system.

Look for another storm system to arrive Thursday, bringing a threat of showers and cool temperatures through Saturday.

Forecasters at this time, however, are calling for a sunny and warm Mother’s Day.
