Police have made an arrest in connection with a dismembered body found at the home of a missing elderly man in San Francisco.

San Francisco police spokesman Joseph Tomlinson says police made the arrest Thursday, three days after 73-year-old Benedict Ching was reported missing.

The San Francisco Examiner reports that an arrest warrant was issued for Stephanie Ching and Douglas Loma on murder charges.

The Examiner quotes neighbors as saying the man lived alone until his daughter and her partner moved into the house in recent months.

The elderly man was reported missing Monday and responding officers discovered human remains at his home. The Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet identified the remains or cause of death.
