A woman says she is shaken up after a frightening road rage incident in Sherman Oaks Tuesday afternoon.
The encounter began around noon as a driver was exiting the CVS parking lot in the 14000 block of Ventura Boulevard.
A passenger in the vehicle, who did not want to be identified, said a car almost hit them as they were pulling out of the driveway.
The passenger said the woman in the other vehicle then flipped her and her partner off after she gave the woman a “weird” look.
She said the woman also began to follow them and caught up a few blocks later near the intersection of Kester Avenue and Valley Vista Boulevard.
As the driver stopped and approached her vehicle, the passenger took out her cellphone and recorded the confrontation.
The video shows the woman walk up and start yelling in the driver’s side window. The women inside the vehicle are yelling back when the woman walks around to the passenger side.
“It was absolutely insane. … She was pulling my phone out of my hand and hitting me in the face,” the passenger said.
The passenger said she filed a report with the Los Angeles Police Department and submitted pictures and video to authorities.
KTLA has placed a call to the Police Department Thursday morning and is awaiting further information.
