    Maywood High School Teacher Charged After Caught-on-Video Fistfight With Student

    A music teacher at a Maywood high school was charged Friday with allegedly hitting a student earlier this month, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said.     Man Fatally Struck by Train Near Exposition Park

    A man died after being struck by a train near Exposition Park on Thursday evening, the L.A. Fire Department said.     A Reseda man has been arrested in connection with the fatal beating of his girlfriend, following a history of domestic violence, police said Friday.     Former Canoga Park Elementary Teacher Sentenced for Inappropriately Touching 6 Students

    A former fourth-grade teacher at Hart Street Elementary School in Canoga Park was sentenced to five years in prison Friday for inappropriately touching six students, officials said.
