Erin Myers is a reporter for the KTLA 5 Morning News.

Erin began her career on national television after obtaining her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in exercise science and her master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Miami.

While looking for a job in the news field, she was offered to host a nationally broadcast game show. When that came to an end, she spent her time working as an entertainment reporter and producer appearing on Extra, E! News Now and others, but news was always her first love.

When KTLA had a position open up in 2013, she jumped at the chance to be a part of such a successful and well-respected organization. She covers breaking news, human interest pieces and of course the fun stuff when you need a good laugh.

In her free time, she is a mom to a wonderful bunch of dogs and cats who are her angels with fur. Her favorite part of the job is making an impact on the community and meeting all the amazing viewers who make KTLA the success it is.
