Ohhh! Look at this Daddy’s day billboard at the corner of Slauson and La Brea in Los Angeles. This was produced by 16-year old Kiana Deane as a salute from all daughters to their dads this Father’s Day weekend.

Dads down on their luck can enjoy some fellowship, pizza and clothing donations courtesy Operation Warm Wishes. The non-profit organization is feeding homeless and struggling dads as well as those who do not have a dad.

Also, Operation Warm Wishes will be collecting food, clothing and personal hygiene items for homeless and struggling fathers.

The Hook up Resource center hosts the First Annual Walk and Bike ride-a-thon. The exercise as well as the meet and greet are designed to raise funds for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury Awareness & Education programs. Both injuries are among the medical issues needing attention among the veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
