LA native Dez White is one of the youngest female African American tech entrepreneur to invent and successfully launch a suite of apps.  The self-taught app inventor is the founder of Invisible Text and its progeny of apps, Invisible Call, Invisible Email, and Invisible Social.  To date, her apps have received hundreds of thousands of downloads.  Her line of apps enable people everywhere to communicate privately and securely across multiple communication platforms.  Users can remotely delete messages before they’ve been read (no more text regret), send messages privately that disappear forever, as well as send GPS locations, video, and audio files and more.   Dez is launching GirlCodeLA, the first of a series of free nationwide tech events targeted to females over the age of 13, to introduce them to app development, the funding process, and which will provide an intro to coding
Dez will be making a commitment at the 2014 Clinton Global Initiative in New York in September as a member. She has raised $4million in funding for Invisible Text and is about to launch her next project is Blind Debit – which she is doing with (Jay Z’s former business partner) Damon Dash.  It will allow consumers to use their fingerprint in lieu of plastic credit cards.  Dez is also looking to launch Rap Battle Live at the end of this year which is where myspace meets Facebook and is going to be an online interactive live Rap platform.
