A once-in-a-lifetime culinary journey throughout Mexico that begins in Mexico City and continues through 32 states, in 156 cities and across 20,000 incredibly delicious miles.

In “Mi Cocina,” New York Times Best-Selling author Rick Martínez shares deeply personal recipes as he recreates the dishes and specialties he tasted throughout his journey. Inspired by his travels, the recipes are based on his taste memories and experiences.

May 18: Mi Cocina X Tallula’s Party

  • Rick will host an evening Mi Cocina cocktail party at Tallula’s in Santa Monica to celebrate his book launch with small bites inspired by recipes from the cookbook. Tickets are available here

May 19: Meet and greet and in conversation with Rick Martínez

  • Rick will be at NowServingLA at Second Home for an in-conversation event with Bricia Lopez, Mexican-American restaurateur and author. Tickets are available here.

May 20: Echo Park Farmers’ Market

  • Rick will be signing copies of his book at Echo Park Farmers’ Market from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
