Google search results are getting more personal. It can now pull info from your calendar, Gmail and Google+ account so you can ask for things like “do I have any appointments today” or “show me my photos from New Jersey” or “is my flight on time?” If you want to turn off these “Private Results,” do any search, then click the gear icon near the upper right  hand corner of the screen. Go into “Search Settings” then find the “Private Results” section and you can turn the feature on or off.

eBay can now track the value of your gadget collection with a new feature called “My Gadgets.” They also hope that this makes it easier for you to sell it through their site when you’re ready to upgrade.

The electronics retailer Newegg.com will have a pop up shop this weekend for Back to School shopping. It will feature 70 hand picked gadgets from big names, but you can’t actually buy them there – it’s just a showroom. You place your order from the store and items are delivered by next day shipping for free to your house. The pop up shop runs August 16-18 at The Oaks shopping center in Thousand Oaks.
