When you’re on the go, less is more! Here are three gadgets that make life easier and more fun.
STM Goods ChargeTree Go, $120
Sometimes, I feel like packing is more about making sure I have the right charging cable for every gadget.
That’s why the ChargeTree Go from STM Goods is so handy!
It lets you wirelessly charge up to three devices with just one USB-C cable to plug in.
The device is small and compact when folded. Then it unfolds to have a place for your phone, Apple Watch and earbuds to charge.
Indicator lights let you know when your gadgets are properly charging.
While the ChargeTree comes with a USB-C cable, you do need to provide your own 20W power supply. I’d recommend this fast charger from Spigen.
When you’re back in the car, Belkin’s Car Vent Mount Pro with MagSafe puts your phone within easy reach. All you have to do is clip it to a vent.
It works with iPhone models 12 and up.
This is just a phone holder. There is no wireless charging built in, but there is a place to route your charging cable to easily plug in your phone.
Just FYI, some users might not like how a vent mount blocks your A/C.
Igloo KoolTunes Playmate, $150
The Igloo KoolTunes brings back an 80’s icon.
It’s actually a revival of a similar cooler back in the day.
“You would use your Sony Walkman, plug in your headphone jack and you’d have speakers,” said Jeff Diamond, VP of Product Development at Igloo Products.
The cooler has built in speakers, but now they use Bluetooth to connect.
It’s water resistant, charges through USB-C and the battery lasts up to 10 hours.
The cooler holds up to 26 cans, on a recent trip to the beach I packed it with a bunch of stuff and it was still easy to close.
I also like how pairing with your phone is simple thanks to audible voice prompts that guide you.
“You’ve got so many things you’re already carrying; this is just such a convenience of putting two in one and it also just brings an element of fun, it makes a statement,” said Diamond.
The cooler comes in various colors and even versions featuring your favorite NFL team.
