Allie Mac Kay was live from the Rose Bowl in Pasadena with a preview of the 52nd annual Watermelon Festival. Brenda Fortune talks about this annual festival and Chef Joseph Poon gives us a live carving demonstration. Allie is also joined by the Verdugo Voices Glee Club and National Watermelon Queen Amber Nolin.

$10, includes Free Watermelon Slices. Free Parking.

Watermelon carving demonstrations, recipe, eating, seed spitting and wearable art contests and nightly prize draws. The coronation of the Watermelon Queen and her court is always a highlight, along with hot local bands and national touring acts.
