California bill seeking to change rules for bicyclists at stop signs sparks controversy


California lawmakers are debating a bill that would allow bicyclists to treat stop signs as yield signs. Advocates say it will increase safety for cyclists by allowing them to get through intersections faster, but others worry it will create a hazard.
