NORCO, Calif. (KTLA) — A family searched for answers and clues Sunday as to what may have happened to their beloved toy poodle.

Andrea and Anthony Baerga said they were heartbroken after dropping off their two dogs at a Norco grooming company, and only getting one back.

The couple left their pets Bodie and QTip at Doggy Paws Grooming in Norco on Friday morning. Later that evening when they went to pick their pets up, Bodie was missing.

Employees at Doggy Paws said the did not know what happened to the dog, and that maybe it had escaped through an open door.

Andrea said the groomers were not providing straight answers.

“They’re playing the blame game,” Andrea said. “They’re changing their stories all the time.”

The Baergas said they’ve brought their poodles to Doggie Paws a couple times before. They pledged to never use them again.

“We want Bodie back, and we want answers. We want to know where he is or what happened to him,” Andrea said.

“We’re praying for him,” Andrea’s 4-year-old son Dylan added.

Anyone who spots Bodie or who has any information was asked to contact the family at (909) 519-0235.
