An area of low pressure to our southwest moves onshore tonight bringing a thick marine layer capable of producing drizzle or light showers west of and at the mountains.

Thunderstorms are also possible for the deserts and maybe the mountains of the Inland Empire. However, there is such limited moisture with this system, that it may only produce dry lightning.
