Labor Day Weekend marks the last holiday of the summer season. Before the weather takes a turn you may want to spend your Sunday at the beach. Gayle Anderson has the details on “Shark Sundays” at the Santa Monica Pier and about other activities taking place this weekend in ‘Gayle On The Go’.

The Fowler Museum at UCLA honors Nobel Peace Prize winner Nelson Mandela with the exhibit “Mandela for President: South Africa Votes for Democracy.” It documents the landmark presidency of the South African leader with election ephemera, commemorative cloths, posters, and works of art created in response to the end of apartheid.

With all of the recent reports about shark sightings, do not fear them, learn about them at “Shark Sundays” at the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium.
