WESTCHESTER (KTLA) – The Nordstrom Rack store at a Westchester shopping mall where two men took 14 employees hostage will likely be closed through the weekend.

Two armed men held the hostages starting at 11 p.m. Thursday.

The suspects fled early Friday morning, and police entered the store about 2 a.m., freeing the 14 employees.

Investigators want to comb every inch of the store to search for clues that will lead them to the two suspects.

Three people were hurt during the ordeal.

Police say one female hostage was dragged to a separate room, where she was sexually assaulted.  A second woman was stabbed in the neck, and a third hostage was pistol-whipped.

Police say the suspects also forced some of the hostages to strip.

Officers arriving at the hostage scene saw one of the suspects leaving the store, but the suspects managed to elude law enforcement and escape.

Police later tracked down a vehicle in Culver City that may have been used as the getaway car.
