Allie Mac Kay was live from Kidspace Children’s Museum in Pasadena for the one year anniversary of The Robert & Mary Galvin Physics Forest. For the Goo recipe, look below.

Oobleck/ Goo
2 parts cornstarch to 1 part water
-Add food coloring of your choice
-To make it dance on the speaker (how we did it):
-Hook up an old speaker (without a grill or mesh covering the speaker cone) and amp
-Download a tone generator app for your mobile device and connect to amp
– Set app to play a tone in the 31.5-60 Hz range
-Rock Out!
*THIS IS MESSY, have a tarp, and buckets of water on hand to clean hands off. DO NOT POUR DOWN THE DRAIN IT WILL CLOG YOUR PIPES. When you’re done playing, scrape into a garbage can.

During the weekend of Friday, July 12 to Sunday, July 14, Kidspace Children’s Museum will celebrate the one year anniversary of the grand opening of The Robert & Mary Galvin Physics Forest, which was opened to the public on July 12, 2012.
