Investigators have released surveillance video of an arsonist responsible for a fire in Van Nuys.

In a screen grab taken from surveillance video, a man is seen pushing a sofa against a tree before lighting the furniture on fire.

The video shows the man pushing a sofa against a tree in front of a home and setting the piece of furniture on fire, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Arson/Counter-Terrorism Section.

No one was injured in the incident, which occurred on the evening of Sept. 29 in the 14600 block of Aetna Street, the LAFD said.

Anyone with information about the person seen in the video was asked to call the Fire Department’s Arson/Counter-Terrorism Section at (213) 893-9850.
