One person was killed and another was critically injured after a vehicle crashed into a building in Norwalk early Saturday.

The crash was reported about just before 1 a.m. along the 13600 block of Fulton Avenue and Front Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Two males who were trapped in the vehicle and the driver was eventually pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
Detective Carl Anna said the driver was apparently speeding when he hit a curb in the area, lost control of the car and crashed into the building.
Anna said the driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The passenger, who was critically injured, was wearing a seatbelt, the detective said.
Drug paraphernalia was found inside the car, but it is unclear if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department also responded to the crash.
No further details were available.
