Two people were in custody and Friday morning in connection with a shooting in Koreatown that left a victim with a minor injury, authorities said.
The incident happened about 1:30 a.m. in the area of West 3rd and South Catalina streets (map), according to a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department’s Olympic Division.
The victim, who suffered a graze wound to the leg, was treated and released at the scene, the LAPD said.
A weapon was recovered, police said.
As of 6 a.m., a perimeter was set up in the area and one person was detained, the LAPD said.
Later, about seven hours after the shooting occurred, the Police Department announced on Twitter that the second person was in custody and the search had concluded.
The shooting was possibly gang-related, authorities said.
