A job fair is being held in South L.A. Friday with the goal of hiring 1,500 people to work as event staff and security guards for all Los Angeles Rams games in the upcoming season.
The one-day hiring event is being held at South Los Angeles WorkSource center, located at 3965 South Vermont Ave., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to a representative from UAW Labor Employment and Training Corporation.
The location is near the L.A. Memorial Coliseum, where the Rams will be playing their home games for the 2016 season.
For the job fair, the South L.A. WorkSource Center partnered with CSC, which provides crowd management for a variety of sporting and entertainment events, the representative said.
Professional interview attire is required, according to a flier for the hiring event. Candidates should also bring right-to-work documents such as an ID or driver’s license and social security card, as some positions will be filled on the spot.
