Two men have been arrested in connection with the recent sexual assault of a female homeowner during a home-invasion robbery in the Canyon Crest neighborhood of Riverside, police announced Monday.

Brandon Bobb and Keshawn Amis, both 20, were taken into custody two days apart, according to a news release from the Riverside Police Department.

Bobb, a resident of Bloomington, was arrested in Riverside Friday; Amis, of Riverside, was taken into custody in the Rubidoux area Sunday, the release stated.

The two men are accused of entering a home near the Canyon Crest Country Club golf course last Tuesday, sexually assaulting the homeowner and then fleeing with property taken from the residence, according to the release.

The victim was awakened just before the break-in by her dogs when they began frantically barking. The incident occurred about 2:15 a.m.

Police released a sketch of one of the two suspects the following day. The arrests were made after they identified both men and their vehicle.

Barr was booked on charges of home-invasion robbery and sex offenses, including sexual penetration by force, according to police and jail records.

Amis was booked for robbery and false imprisonment with violence, inmate records showed.

Both men are being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center.
