Two people were left injured during the early morning hours of Saturday after a shooting at a bar in Valley Village, authorities confirmed.

Police were called regarding a shooting at the Rec Room at 12430 Riverside Drive around 1:30 a.m., according to Los Angeles Police Lt. Ignacio Verduzco.

Responding officers found two victims bleeding from gunshot wounds, Verduzco said. It was not immediately clear whether the victims were male or female.

One of the victims was taken to the hospital by emergency responders, while the other transported his- or herself, Verduzco said. Officials are looking into the possibility that the self-transport is a suspect in the crime, he added.

A motive was not known and no arrests have been made. Blown-out windows and bullet holes were visible on multiple cars sitting in the parking lot outside the bar, video footage from the scene showed.

Detectives were working to interview witnesses as the investigation continued late Saturday morning. No further details were immediately available.
