Two men were in serious condition after being stabbed Saturday in Burbank, police said.
The Burbank Police Department about 3:50 p.m. received a 911 call regarding a stabbing in the 1000 block of East Angeleno Avenue (map), the agency said in a statement.
Officers and Burbank Fire Department paramedics responded to the location and found two male victims, both in their early 20s, inside a vehicle, according to Burbank police Sgt. Darin Ryburn. Both men were suffering from multiple stab wounds.
“They had driven to that location. One of the victims lives in that area,” Ryburn said. “The actual stabbing occurred about two blocks away at [North] Sunset [Canyon Drive] and Orange Grove [Terrace] (map).”
The two men were transported to hospitals, where one underwent surgery and both were in serious condition, police said.
Investigators were at the hospitals, where they intended to obtain statements from the victims, according to Ryburn.
No arrests have been made in the incident.
Anyone who was in the area of North Sunset Canyon Drive and Orange Grove Terrace between 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Saturday, or who had any information about the incident, was asked to call the Burbank Police Department at 818-238-3000.
