Officers responded to the Kohl’s located in the 18100 block of Irvine Boulevard around 1 a.m. after someone called to a report at a fight on the second floor of the store, according to a news release from the Tustin Police Department.

Once at the scene, officers found two female victims who had facial lacerations. One of the victims was transported to a local medical center for treatment of injuries that were not considered to be life threatening.

A Kohl’s security guard told police that three women were responsible for the assaulting the women, the release stated.

One of the alleged attackers was still inside the store, while the other two had left, according to the release. Eventually, the two other females came back to the store after being contacted by officers.

All three were arrested without incident, police said in the release.

One woman was book into Orange County Jail, while another was released pending further investigation. The juvenile was released to her parents with “charges to be requested,” the release stated.

It was not immediately clear what prompted the fight.

The assault occurred as the store was open overnight for its Black Friday sale.

The store remained open following the incident.
