Three victims were all shot in the leg Sunday in San Pedro near the intersection of West First and North Beacon streets, police said.

The three individuals, two women and one man in their 20s, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Los Angeles Police Department Lt. Helen Pallares said. The victims are roommates who shared an apartment in the neighborhood, authorities said.

They were shot after a gray, four-door, late-model Toyota car pulled up on West First Street. Upon spotting the victims, a passenger stepped out of the car with his gun, LAPD Sgt. Michael Morales said. Each victim was shot once from roughly 30 feet away, according to Morales.

Officers said they are searching for two Hispanic men. Police did not have a description beyond their race and vehicle.

Police did not say whether the incident was gang-related.

No other information was immediately available.
