A second surviving victim of the “Grim Sleeper” will testify during the penalty phase of the trial of Lonnie Franklin Jr., who was convicted last week of 10 counts of murder and one count of attempted murder, the prosecutor said Thursday. The prosecution’s star witness in the main part of the trial had been a woman who in 1988 was raped and shot by Franklin but survived. Kareen Wynter reports for the KTLA 5 News at 3 on May 12, 2016.
