A dispute over a parking space ended with five men being stabbed and wounded early Saturday morning in Lynwood, authorities said.
A caller reported the incident about 1:37 a.m. in an alley near the intersection of Tweety and Long Beach boulevards (map), according to Lt. Jay Moss of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies arrived to find five stabbing victims, four of whom were transported to a hospital and listed in stable condition, the lieutenant said. All were expected to survive.
The argument over the parking spot sparked a brawl in which someone produced “some sort of knife,” Moss said.
The knifed-wielding attacker, described only as a Hispanic man, remained at large. One other person involved in the fracas was taken into custody.
