Authorities on Tuesday asked for the public’s help in identifying a man involved in an early-morning armed robbery at a Laguna Niguel gas station.
The incident occurred about 1 a.m. at the Arco AM/PM located at 27491 La Paz Road (map), according to Lt. Jeff Hallock of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The robber held a stun gun to the cashier’s back and neck area, and demanded cash, Hallock said in a statement. No vehicle was seen.
Officials on Tuesday afternoon released surveillance video of the incident.
The man being sought is described as possibly African-American, in his mid-to-late 20s, 5 feet 10 inches, and 160 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with dark stripes, blue jeans and black shoes. His head and the lower portion of his face were covered with a black mask or similar type of clothing.
