A Pacoima boy, who was the subject of an overnight search, was found Tuesday afternoon at a friend’s house, police said.
The 13-year-old, who was despondent over the recent death of his grandfather, became involved in a verbal argument with his mother, according to a news advisory issued by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division.
After the argument, he left a residence in the 13100 block of Paxton Street (map) and “stated he wanted to die or be killed,” the advisory said.
He was found Tuesday afternoon and appeared to be in good condition, police said in a tweet.
