With the summer heat continuing, what do you do with your hot and cranky kids?

A surefire way to cool down kids during these sunny, sweltering days is to take them to one of the free splash pads across Los Angeles County to frolic in jets of water.

Sometimes, all kids (and adults) may need is a fun douse of water. Splash pads and spraygrounds are the perfect option to beat the summer heat, with sprinklers, spray jets and plenty of water to cool off with. Here is a list of splash zones open this summer to check out.

For more information regarding hours and specific splash pads, visit L.A. County Parks and Recreation website.
