Inside one of the vehicles in the tow yard, a small pipe bomb was found, a police officer on scene told KTLA. An spokesman later said that the suspected pipe bomb was, in fact, just a pipe.

The call came in to the Los Angeles Police Department at about noon, LAPD spokesman Richard French said, adding that there’s no threat.

The business is in the 2100 block of East 25th Street (map).

KTLA’s Soumada Khan contributed to this report.
