Students were evacuated from some of the dorms at UCLA late Wednesday after the report of a bomb threat.

The phoned-in bomb threat was reported about 10:10 p.m. at UCLA Sunset Recreation Center, according to a UCLA official.

Three residence halls were evacuated as a precaution.

Certain areas were on lockdown. Aerial images from Sky5 showed students gathering at Drake Stadium.

Around midnight some students were being allowed to return to their dorms, campus officials told KTLA.

No other information was immediately available.
