A car ended up in a swimming pool Wednesday evening after plowing through an apartment building in Camarillo.

The crash happened around 7:52 p.m. in the 400 block of Paseo Camarillo, according to Capt. Mike Lindbery with the Ventura County Fire Department.

The drove through the leasing office at the Allure at Camarillo Apartment Home and landed in the community pool, according to the Ventura County Star.

The driver, described as a man in his 40s, may have suffered a medical emergency before the crash, the newspaper reported.

The condition of the driver was unknown.
