BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KTLA) — A California condor unintentionally stole the show at a hockey game in Bakersfield.

A wrangler brought the bird named “Queen Victoria” out onto the ice for the national anthem at the Bakersfield Condors game.

Unfortunately, the condor didn’t want to sit still for the song.

The bird got away from its handler and flew to the penalty box.

The wayward condor was finally captured and taken away.
