IRVINE, Calif. (KTLA) — Irvine police have arrested a high school teacher for allegedly using a fake Facebook page to lure young boys into sending him sexually explicit pictures.

Police say 30-year-old Zachery Reeder posed as a young woman on Facebook and did not appear to have any physical contact with the alleged victims.

At least 70 teens from Lake Forest, Irvine, Anaheim, Tustin and Orange have come forward in the case.

Reeder worked as a social science teacher at Servite High School, a Catholic, all-boys school in Anaheim.

Prosecutors has filed 140 felony counts against Reeder, including possession of child pornography, distributing obscene matter involving minors, exhibiting lewd material to a minor and luring a child with intent to commit a specified crime.

Reeder is free one $1 million bail.
