A 3-year-old pit bull was making remarkable progress on Wednesday just three weeks after being found bloody and emaciated.
“Huey” was found dumped in a yard in Moreno Valley suffering from multiple bite wounds and gashes on his face where his mouth had been taped shut.
It was believed that Huey may have been used as “bait” in a dog-fighting ring.
