Rare drone video of a humpback whale swimming off the coast of Newport Beach captured images of the creature creating its own rainbow.
The video was shot by Mark Girardeau who was flying the drone from a boat piloted by Capt. Royce Hutain.
In the video, the whale can be seen surfacing and blowing out water, which takes on the appearance of a rainbow.
The video was recorded on Sunday.
