Emergency crews successfully brought a man back to safety after he was seen sitting atop a crane high in the air in Koreatown Monday afternoon.

The Los Angeles Fire Department was called to the scene near Berendo Street and 8th Street around 4:45 p.m.

The man was seen sitting on the end of the crane, which was about 75-80 feet high, according to the LAFD.

LAFD said the man was possibly intending to jump. He sat precariously on the crane for several hours.

First responders made their way to the top of the crane and successfully convinced the man to come down.

It is unclear at this time if the man will face charges.
