Firefighters Battle Large Blaze Engulfing Santa Ana Warehouse

Firefighters were sent to a blaze that engulfed a warehouse Wednesday morning in Santa Ana.

The fire was reported about 5:11 a.m. at the building located in the 1900 block of East Carnegie Avenue, the Orange County Fire Authority tweeted.

More than 50 firefighters were sent to battle the third alarm fire, which was burning through the roof of the building when crews arrived.

Firefighters quickly gained the upper hand and had stopped the forward progress of the fire, according to a Fire Authority tweet just after 6 a.m.

It was unclear if anyone was injured in the fire.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
