An arson investigation was underway Saturday evening after firefighters extinguished a blaze involving 11 residential garages in Boyle Heights, officials said.

Thirty-two firefighters responded about 7:15 p.m. to the 200 block of North Soto Street, where a row of garages was in flames, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire was knocked down within 24 minutes, the LAFD said on Twitter. No injuries were reported.

No other information was immediately available.
