Firefighters on Saturday afternoon responded to a small brush fire in Westlake Village, an official with the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
The incident was initially reported about 2 p.m. as a first-alarm structure fire in the 300 block of Ridgeford Drive, according to Fire Department spokesman Art Marrujo.
About thirty minutes later, a tweet from the agency described the blaze as a brush fire covering 2-3 acres, adding that no structures were threatened.
There were no reports of injuries.
The forward progress of the blaze was stopped by about 4 p.m., the L.A. County Fire Department said on Twitter.
