Homicide Detectives Investigate Discovery of Human Skulls at Palmdale Home

Detectives were investigating the discovery of human skulls at a home on the east side of Palmdale in the Antelope Valley on Tuesday night.

The discovery was made by officers with the Huntington Beach Police Department who were serving a search warrant at the home in the 2500 block of East Avenue Q-4, according to Deputy Trina Schrader with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

It was not clear why Huntington Beach officers were in Palmdale.

Sheriff’s homicide detectives were called to the home when the skulls were found, according to a new release from the department.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner had taken over the investigation and a forensic analysis was scheduled to be done to determine if there was any foul play, the release stated.
