Homicide detectives were investigating the stabbing death of a man who was found in Compton early Monday morning.

The stabbing was reported in the 4600 block of East Alondra Boulevard at about 12:50 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

No additional information on the stabbing was immediately available.
