L.A. Unified board meets to discuss COVID vaccine mandate amid protests from some parents

The Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education was scheduled to meet Tuesday to discuss COVID-19 vaccination requirements for students amid opposition from some of their parents.

The district currently mandates students ages 12 and older get their first dose by Nov. 21.
