Officials arrested a person with a knife after finding a man with multiple stab wounds at the Los Angeles International Airport early Friday morning, an airport spokeswoman said.

Los Angeles Airport Police responded to reports of an altercation and possible stabbing near terminal three and the Tom Bradley International Terminal around 12:30 a.m., spokeswoman and officer Alicia Hernandez said.

A man was found with multiple stab wounds on the upper level, curbside, she said. He was transported to a hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.

Video of the scene showed his face was bloodied.

A person with a knife was located across from terminal two by United Service Organizations personnel and transported to an airport police station for prebooking procedures.

He was expected to be charged with attempted murder, Hernandez said.
